Stereometrics

Since the year 2002, I began to define the idea of giving a more transparent understanding of the wonderful plasticity of wire, to express form and created the intriguing conception of space, in the way that no other materials can.

Wire become a unique medium for a unique way of expression, for which a unique way to define should be used.

In 1994, I put together an exhibition in Lima - Peru, I titled:  "Wire, Space, and Reality" the idea of this exhibition was the celebration of ideas I was using, to understand space through the use of wire, and the various  ways of manipulating wire... the technics and the perceptual challenge of it.

Now.. Wire and Sculpture when it happens? in fact, a difference of other materials like stone and wood, not too long ago. however is a material that has been with us probably very much longer than paper. 

Wire is inevitable linked to metal because is made out of metal is a man-made material. however, the linear expression of wire in the space suggest dynamical properties of expression. that can also be achieved with other materials. ultimately following  the same the initial expressive properties found in wire or vice verse.
